Day Twenty Four - Lindquist Field

Took some more photos at Lindquist Field, the home of the Ogden Raptors, at 2330 Lincoln Ave, Ogden Utah.

Quote of the Day: "To take photographs means to recognize-simultaneously and within a fraction of a second-both the fact itself and the rigorous organization of visually perceived forms that give it meaning. It is putting one’s head, one’s eye and one’s heart on the same axis." - Henri Cartier-Bresson

Looking for Some Blue

July the third I start an online class and the first assignment has to do with the color blue. So I decide to go out today and see what blue items I could find and here are my results. The blue with red diamond, and wheelbarrel, were photographed at Lowe's Home Improvement Store, at 344 N Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT. The two was photographed from the old North Star Drive-in, located at 2131 N Highway 89, harrisville, UT, all that is left of the drive-in is the sign, the drive-in is now a housing development. the red, wihite and blue abstract is off a UTA bus, The photograph of the bell was taken in someones yard. The blue and white building is a photograph of Karen Kar's LLC, 7125 S Highway 89, Willard, UT. © Dale Wing

Between the Storms

Today it was raining when I got up, it quit raining, but was still overcasted. I decided to go out and photograph anyway. And this is what I came up with today. I drove around the block and found the Snapdragon and rose in a neighbors yard. The number three is from an old warehouse that is being remodeled. I thought I better go and photograph all the dock numbers just in case they decide to remove them. I seen puffs of black smoke in the air and decided to chase a fire, actually the city is doing redevelopment and there using some of the old homes to let the fire department practice firefighting. © Dale Wing
