Day Twenty Three - Light Pole Bolt

I know that I am some times fascinated by the simplist things, but there is a lot going on with these nuts, bolts, and washers. The colors that make up rust, the textures, the patterns, the play of light and shadows, and oh so much more.

Day Two - Around Ogden

The statue of Jim Bridger is on the Northeast corner of 25th and Washington Blvd. The statue was in the shade and the sun was just starting to light the statue. Thought it would make a nice black and white photo.

The corn stock are one of the first sign of fall, really liked the color and texture of the stocks. Found the stocks on the North side of 25th street at 272 25th street.

I went into Farr's Jewelry at 2466 Washington Blvd. to check on a camera strap, and found the figurine ask for permission to photograph and they said yes. The figurine is a $1450.00 Giusseppe Armani creation titled "Charme".

Found this great texture on the East wall of the Ogden Amphitheater and Plaza for the Arts.

Old Machinary, rock, and Weed

I was in the mood to photograph some rust, which I can't get enough of, so I went to the Timbermine Steakhouse parking lot, at 1701 Park Blvd, Ogden Utah, to photograph some old farm equipment, found this neat rusty wheel. Also found a nice rock texture which I will use when I start to make photomontages. The weed was an added bonus, I don't remember the name, but it is a common weed, with a large puff ball when it goes to seed. © Dale Wing
