Day Eighteen - Blue Dumpster
Today drove around the Lindquist Field, the home of the Ogden Raptors, at 2330 Lincoln Ave, Ogden Utah. In an alley on the South side of the field, I spotted a small rusty blue dumpster. I decided I could get a great abstraction photo by just photographing one of the lift points on the dumpster.
Quote of the Day: "When shooting industrial subjects and still lifes, it is a matter of finding the beauty in ordinary things, or outright creating beauty through careful juxtapositon, use of shadow, and finding interesting shapes and lines within something very ordinary." - George Barr - From: "Take Your Photography to the Next Level"

Looking for Some Blue
July the third I start an online class and the first assignment has to do with the color blue. So I decide to go out today and see what blue items I could find and here are my results. The blue with red diamond, and wheelbarrel, were photographed at Lowe's Home Improvement Store, at 344 N Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT. The two was photographed from the old North Star Drive-in, located at 2131 N Highway 89, harrisville, UT, all that is left of the drive-in is the sign, the drive-in is now a housing development. the red, wihite and blue abstract is off a UTA bus, The photograph of the bell was taken in someones yard. The blue and white building is a photograph of Karen Kar's LLC, 7125 S Highway 89, Willard, UT. © Dale Wing
