Day thirty Seven - Street # 6

Snowy day on 25th Street today.

Quote of the Day: "What's really important is to simplify. The work of most photographers would be improved immensely if they could do one thing: get rid of the extraneous. If you strive for simplicity, you are more likely to reach the viewer." - William Albert Allard, Photographic Essay (American Photographer Master Series) by William Albert Allard

  1. Love the horse/carriage photos. And the "jewels" photo? Wonderful design and flow. -- Carol Leigh

  2. Thanks Carol for your comment.

25th Street is starting their holiday season, so they were offering free rides. I missed an opportunity to get photos by not taking a ride:( My personal favorites are one & three.

The jewels were on a purse that was hang on a manikin on the sidewalk. I took a photo of the purse the other day, and it had a lot of hot spots, and I remember you trying to drill into us how hot spots take away from the impact of a photo. I quess I did ok on todays purse because you said you liked it.
